Acne
Acne occurs when your hair follicies become plugged with dead skin cells and oil. It most commonly occurs on your face, neck, chest, back and shoulders. Which are the areas of your skin with the largest number of functional glands. Acne can be very distressing and very persistent.
Hormones in boys and girls during puberty may cause the sebaceous glands to enlarge and make more sebum.
Certain medications are known to cause acne
Dietry factors, including dairy products and carbohydrate-rich foods - such as bagels, bread and chips, which increase blood sugar - may trigger acne.
Uncontrolled stress can trigger acne breakouts. Take steps to manage your stress ie: scale back your "to do lists" and make time to do the things you enjoy. You will find the results far more dramatic than you would ever expect.
As far as we can go back in the writings on seaweed it has always been known for the treatment of acne and is equally successful for acne on the face on the back or chest.

Acne rosacea:
This is one of the worst diagnosed acnes. It goes from people saying it is a good outdoor complexion to others saying it looks like too much alcohol. It is remarks like this that cause serious stress to sufferers and the fact that doctors so often take no notice of the problem for many years and then treatments often do not work causing more distress to the sufferer.
Over the last few years we have found that Aalgo is very successful in the treatment of rosacea. Firstly it calms the redness, and then exfoliates away all the dryness, and finally the skin feels calm and rehydrated.
Aalgo is 100% organic seaweed powder which when you mix with hot water becomes a smooth cream. On the face it does not harden and is very gentle and very easy to remove.
- Make mask as described apply cold leaving on for 1-6 minutes.
- Remove with cotton wool and warm water.
- Pat the face with cotton wool and cold water to close the pores.
- Pat the face dry with cotton wool.
- Apply normal moisturizer.
- Use daily to keep colour away.

Baby acne:
Often develops during the first three to four weeks after birth, characterized by small red bumps on baby's cheeks, chin and forehead. Although very common and only temporary baby acne isn't pretty. it looks worse when baby is fussy or crying. There is little you can do to prevent baby acne, and the best treatment is usually none at all.
Some babies develop tiny white bumps on the nose, chin or cheeks known as milia.
Do not use baby wipes - only use cotton wool and cool water.
